Julia Jones Artist Statement

With no formal art training I just draw and paint, spurred into action by a subject that inspires me to try to commit it to paper.

I mostly paint in pastel pencils, pen and wash, and lately have ventured into oils. 
I do take commissions of your favourite pet mostly undertaken in pencil pastel from a photograph, but I do like to see the animal in life as photographs can sometimes be misleading
